Anna Christensen – Editor
Anna started her career in magazines, working at Scoop Publishing as an arts editor and features writer – where she covered everything from surfing to nudists to Buddhist nuns. She also worked alongside Renee Bergere as deputy editor of Perth Guide, and lead the arts and events guide in the city.
She then decided to fulfil her lifelong dream of working in her pyjamas and transitioned into full-time freelance writing with the Write Stuff Collective. She’s written for a seriously diverse range of publications and, now, local businesses drawn to her witty, conversational writing style.
Susannah Christensen – Deputy Editor
Susannah Christensen (or Sussy) is a freelance writer, editor and digital communications specialist. Her experience lies in magazine writing, copywriting, online content creation and graphic design. Susannah heads Nothing Suss Virtual Assistant – Perth’s premier virtual assistant service.
A dual citizen, Susannah spends her time between Fremantle, Western Australia and Brooklyn, New York. She holds her Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism from the University of Notre Dame Australia.
Torrens Revell – Photographer & Staff Writer
Torrens (or Torrie) is our arts and sports specialist. A strange combo, some might think – but her experience says otherwise. After graduating from James Madison University (Virginia) with majors in Kinesiology and Rhetoric and Technical Communications, Torrens returned to her hometown of Freo to explore her city.
When she’s not killing it at the gym or creating museum-worthy doodles, she’s out with the Great About Perth crew snapping stunning shots and writing sharp copy. She’s here to show you what’s great in her world.
Elizabeth Eggimann – Photographer & Staff Writer
Elizabeth is a New York born-and-raised creative and self-professed eco-princess. She arrived in Perth a year ago for a three month stint. Welp, she’s still here – and wants to let you in on why she stayed.
Liz works with the Conservation Council of WA and spends her free time traveling to Perth’s most beautiful surrounds. She loves drinking and eating her way through the hottest bars and restaurants Perth has on offer. Her inquisitive nature, witty writing style and eye for a good snap make her the perfect creative contributor – and party companion.

[…] “PICA has a very bright future ahead as it continues, with the support of its donors, to create defining moments for artists, art forms and audiences,” she says. “There is so much going on in the Western Australian art scene that is really innovative and inspiring. It just needs the means to be all it can be.” If I can help with that by letting the idealised vision I have of my cultural future run rampant, I’m completely on board. The PICA Salon exhibition is showing at PICA from 3 August to 31 August as part of the Winter Arts Season. The exhibition’s exclusive opening night, the Salon Vernissage, is on 2 August, and is reserved for donors and exhibiting artists. Contact PICA for more information. By Sophie Raynor […]
